A Turning the Page chapter is a youth-led group—usually based at a high school or college—that works to collect and distribute books to under-resourced elementary schools in their community.

Each chapter:

• Runs regular book drives (on campus or in the community)

• Partners with local schools, libraries, or community centers

• Builds a team of student volunteers

• Works with our flagship Brooklyn Chapter for support and mentorship

Chapters are what allow Turning the Page to grow city by city, school by school—and create meaningful, lasting connections between young people and literacy in action.
